Amalfi Coast Yacht Charters

A Distinctive Vacation Option: Yacht Charters in Amalfi Coast

Considering vacationing in Italy? Consider a yacht charter in Amalfi Coast.

The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a delightful mix of mountain and sea, making it a perfect destination for luxury yacht charters. The stunning geographical features that result from this union include a variety of natural elements – such as coves, cliffs, arches, fjords, caverns, and bays – which together create a magical landscape and an ideal yacht charter destination.

Homer referred to the Amalfi Coast as the Sirens in the classic poem of “Odysseus.” The area lives up to this title even today. From large cities to quaint villages, from fishermen to farmers, from mountain to sea… this coastline has it all.

Vietri sul Mare , which is the gateway to the Amalfi Coast from Salerno, is made of beautiful hill towns and vivid colors. The small fishing village of Cetara is known around the world for culinary breakthroughs, such as the salted anchovy sauce or red tuna.

Don’t be fooled by Maiori’s wide, modern promenade. This delightful old town has narrow streets that are filled with imposing architecture such as the castle of San Nicola de Thoro Plano and the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare. Minori offers historical sites such as the preserved Roman Villa and the spectacular Basilica of Santa Trofimena, but the village is also known for its truly Italian homemade pasta.

Tramonti is a group of villages that is in the green mountains. It is surrounded by vineyards and important for its indigenous wines and dairy products. Altrani may be a small town, but it’s big in beauty. Be sure to visit its town square and the striking church of San Salvatore de’ Birecto.

Ravello ’s location at 350 meters above sea level allow for fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. Many important people have come to Ravello including famous writers, artists, political figures, and celebrities. Take time to visit Scala, the oldest town of the Amalfi Coast. The city of Amalfi has a paper museum, in which tourists can see how handmade paper used to be made. Visitors cannot miss the impressive St. Andrew Cathedral with its imposing staircase.

The beautiful village of Conca dei Marini overlooks the blue waters of the sea and has many sight-seeing opportunities including the Emerald Grotto, the church of San Pancrazio, and the convent of Santa Rosa. Furore consists of small villages peeking from the mountainside. The deep fjord and traditional houses make this “town that does not exist” a photographer’s dream come true.

Praiano offers a beach, stunning architecture, and streets that smell like geraniums. Rumor has it that the best views of the sunset are from yacht deck in the bay of Positano. The charming village of Positano has stately palaces, an archeological site of a Roman villa, and little shoes with “Moda Positano” sandals and linen clothes. Praiano and Positano are some of the most popular stops on luxury yacht charters in Amalfi Coast.
